01Summary

Wizz Wallet is non-custodial software. The wallet does not create accounts: your private keys, recovery phrase, addresses, balances and transaction history stay on your own device. This policy describes what the website itself records when you visit it, and what you can ask us to do with that.

02What we do not collect

The wallet never transmits, and we never ask for:

  • your recovery phrase, private keys or unlock password;
  • your name, email address, phone number or identity documents — there is no account and no verification step;
  • your balances, addresses, transaction history or the assets you hold;
  • precise location, contacts, photos or advertising identifiers.

One honest caveat: transactions you broadcast on Bitcoin are public by design. That visibility comes from the network itself, not from anything we collect.

03What is recorded automatically

When you load a page, our hosting provider may record standard technical data: your IP address, the browser and operating-system type, the referring page, the URL requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the page, keep it online and detect abuse such as scraping or phishing traffic.

We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell this data.

04Cookies and local storage

The Site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser may keep small local settings for this Site — for example the documentation topic or platform you last opened, or the state of an opened menu. Those values stay on your device and you can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

05Third-party services used by the Site

A few resources are loaded from outside this Site, so the corresponding provider sees the request:

  • Google Fonts — the style sheets and typefaces used for page text are served by Google, so your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.
  • Hosting and asset delivery — pages and images are served by our hosting provider, which processes the technical data described above.
  • External links — links to documentation, social profiles or marketplaces leave this Site; those destinations have their own policies.

06How information is used

Only for a narrow set of purposes: delivering the pages you request; keeping the Site secure and available; understanding aggregate traffic so we know which pages are worth improving; and answering the support email you choose to send us.

07Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. It may be processed on our behalf by our hosting and email providers under their own terms, and it may be disclosed where we are legally required to — for example by a valid order from a competent authority.

08Email you send us

If you write to support@wizzwallet.org, we keep your message and our reply in order to answer your request and to keep a record of the exchange. Never include your recovery phrase, private keys or password — we will never ask for them, and a message containing them should be treated as already exposed.

09How long we keep it

Hosting logs are kept for the short period our hosting provider applies to security logs. Support email is kept only as long as needed to handle the request and to prevent abuse. Local settings in your browser stay there until you clear them.

10Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission is completely secure, so the main protection is that we collect as little as possible. On your side, the wallet protects keys with a password and local encryption; the safety of your device and of your recovery backup remains with you.

11Your rights

You can ask us for access to personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to certain processing — for example a support email you no longer want kept. Write to support@wizzwallet.org and we will respond as your local law requires. You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your country.

12Children

The Site and the Software are not directed at children under 16, or under the age of majority where you live. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site develops. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page identifies the current version, and material changes are noted here when they happen.

14Contact

For privacy questions, or to exercise any right listed above, write to support@wizzwallet.org. For security problems, describe the issue without including keys, phrases or full log files.
